Sheree has been an enthusiastic participant, volunteer and supporter of local literary events for many years.
In 2018, poet and convenor Ali Whitelock invited Sheree to take on the role of Host/MC for The Sydney Poetry Lounge. This event includes a broad open-mic section for local emerging storytellers, musical stylings from beloved South Coast pianist Pete Cunnington, and longer sets from a variety of established domestic and international poets. Past features include Graham Foust, Mark Tredinnick, Ian Macpherson, Tug Dumbly, Evelyn Araluen, Richard James Allen, and many more.
